Who we are

When you ask for your spot
We ask for one thing: your email address. Pressing the button under the line that says what we will send you is your agreement that we may email you about early access to Musilingual. There is no box to tick and nothing else to fill in.
With your email we store:
- Your number: your place in the queue, worked out from the order in which people joined.
- Where you came from: the link you used (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, a shared link, or none), any campaign tags in that link, and the address of the page that sent you. This tells us which posts work.
- Your country, worked out from your connection; whether you use a phone or a computer; and your browser’s first language. We do not store your IP address.
- The time you joined and the time you last pressed the button. Sending the same email again keeps your number and changes nothing else.
- Whether we have sent you your confirmation email, with the time and your number at that moment, so that you never get it twice.
When you just visit
We count the visit: the time, the link you came from, your country, and phone or computer. This uses no cookies and no tracking scripts, and it is not linked to your email.
If you use a practice exercise on this site
When an exercise starts and when it finishes, we store the time, which exercise it was, your score at the finish, the link you came from, your country, and phone or computer. No cookie and no identifier: nothing links an exercise to you or to your email.
The emails
We email you about early access: a confirmation with your number, and a note when Musilingual is ready. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and your mail app shows its own unsubscribe button for it. Either takes you off the list straight away. You can also write to hello@musilingual.com.
Who handles the data
Our hosting and email service providers process it on our behalf, only to run this site and deliver our emails. They may process it outside Australia. Nobody else gets it.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and in any case at most 2 years after our last email to you.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@musilingual.com from the address you joined with.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
Age
The list is for people aged 16 or older. If you are younger, please don’t join yet.
